SELECTION GUIDE
Choosing a front-emitting silicone strip
Read the complete cross-section
Check height, emitting width and the overall width of a flanged profile. Different finishes or faces should not be treated as interchangeable products.
Cut at the specified interval
12V versions use 2.5 cm cutting sections; 24V versions use 5 cm sections. These are fixed intervals, not the free-cut feature of the solderless series.
Plan supply and installation
100–200 m rolls describe supplied material, not a single powered run. The series has a 3-year warranty; confirm applicable terms and the installation configuration.
Before you specify
Does a 100–200 m roll work from one power feed?
Supply-roll length and powered-run length are different. Plan section lengths, power supplies and feed points for the exact voltage and configuration; do not use the roll length as a continuous-power specification.
Can these strips be used outdoors after cutting?
Outdoor use requires the correct connectors and restored end sealing after cutting. Where an IP67 configuration is specified, it applies only to the correctly assembled complete termination system; it is not a blanket claim of continuous-submersion suitability.
Do 110V/220V versions use the same cutting intervals?
Do not infer high-voltage intervals from the 12V/24V figures. Confirm the selected high-voltage version's cutting, color/control options, power and accessories. Professional installation is required; do not mix high- and low-voltage accessories.
