Choosing a side-emitting silicone strip
Check the light direction
Use the product and cross-section images to locate the emitting face. Emission direction alone does not establish an allowed bending direction or minimum radius.
Match the exact profile
The standard 6 × 12 mm profile and 6 × 12 mm Type A have different top shapes. Compare the drawings and matching end caps rather than treating them as interchangeable.
Match voltage and cutting
12V versions are cut in 2.5 cm sections, and 24V versions in 5 cm sections. Confirm 110V/220V cutting and electrical details separately.
Before you specify
How do standard 6 × 12 mm and Type A profiles differ?
Both belong to the side-emitting series, but the standard version has a flat top and Type A has a rounded top. Compare the exact drawings and select matching accessories; the same nominal dimensions do not make them interchangeable.
What does the 100–200 m roll specification mean?
It describes supply-roll length, not a guaranteed powered run from one end. Confirm each powered section and feed arrangement for the selected version. The series carries a 3-year warranty subject to the agreed terms.
What is required for outdoor installation?
Use matching terminations and correctly seal all cut ends and connections. IP67, where specified, requires the complete termination system to be correctly assembled. High-voltage versions require professional installation and must not use low-voltage accessories.
